Being creative is about making mistakes

Yesterday I had the opportunity to listen to Vinay Menon, a stand-up comedian and English teacher. He made us literally laugh out loud.

His TEDx talk is very very informative one that gets us to think — What is the purpose of our Education System? Very well spoken, Vinay 🙂

Few take-aways:

  1. Being creative is about making mistakes. It is about attempting something, making mistakes, and then again trying.
  2. We must question everything both inwardly and outwardly — Socrates
  3. There is no such thing as making a silly mistake.
  4. Discipline is not related to Punishment. Positive reinforcement helps people improve, not negative reinforcement — The monster study.
