Goals must be internal, not external.

I think our goal in life should be more internal than external – to evolve our own set of moral values and code of ethics the help us determine the kind of life we want to lead.

I’ve realised that decision making is hard. There is no right or wrong answer mostly because you never know what the outcome is going to be. But the one thing you know is what seems like the right thing to do according to your moral compass.

The more we align our actions with our values and ethics, the lesser the internal struggle, and greater the internal peace. For, the only person who must determine whether or not you have led a good life is you and rule #1 is that you do not go against your inner self.
